In this world, life does not begin only once, and it does not end only once.
在这个世界里，生命不会只开始一次，也不会只结束一次。Every life is part of a longer journey. What you call “this life” is only one chapter.
每一次生命只是更长旅程中的一段，你所称的“今生”，只是其中的一页。Before this life, there were others. After this life, there may be more.
在今生之前，或许已有许多生命；在今生之后，也可能仍会继续。Nothing that happens here is entirely without cause.
在这个世界里，没有任何事情完全没有原因。Every action, every intention, every choice leaves a trace.
每一个行为、每一个念头、每一次选择，都会留下痕迹。These traces accumulate. They form what this world calls karma.
这些痕迹不断累积，形成这个世界所谓的 “业”。When one life comes to an end, the story does not close.
当一段生命结束时，故事并不会真正终止。What has been done continues to move forward, shaping what may come next.
已经发生的一切仍然向前延续，并影响下一次生命的开始。Thus the world turns in cycles: life, death, and life again.
于是世界在循环之中运转：生、死，再生。This turning forms a cycle.
这种循环，被称为 轮回。Most who enter this world do not remember their previous lives.
大多数进入这个世界的人，并不会记得自己的前世。Yet the past is never entirely gone.
但过去从未真正消失。It lives quietly in the conditions of the present.
它悄然存在于当下的一切境遇之中。You are now inside this world.
此刻，你已经进入了这个世界。 -
Encounters are not random.
在这个世界里，每一次相遇都不是偶然。Some connections are easy to make. Others take lifetimes to ripen.
有些缘分轻易就能相遇，有些则需要轮回百世才能成熟。Ten years of effort, and two souls may meet upon the same boat,
十年修行，你们可能同舟而渡；A hundred years of cultivation, and they may share the same pillow in sleep.
百年修炼，你们才能共枕而眠。Each meeting, each shared moment, is the result of countless small causes.
每一次相遇，每一次共同的时刻，都是无数微小因果的结果。 -
Licking or drinking the blood of fellow allies to make a vow.
The purpose is to seal a covenant with blood, symbolizing loyalty and commitment until death.
It was commonly practiced at the start of wars, tribal alliances, or significant political agreements.
